Install Plainly

Plainly is one app — nothing to choose between here. The sections below are just the steps for your device: find yours and follow it.

Plainly works straight from the browser — installing just gives it its own icon and window, like any other app. Nothing to download from a store, no extra permissions.

📱 iPhone / iPad Safari

  1. Open plainly.mx in Safari
  2. Tap the Share icon (square with an arrow, at the bottom of the screen)
  3. Scroll down and tap Add to Home Screen
  4. Tap Add — Plainly now has its own icon on your Home Screen

🤖 Android Chrome

  1. Open plainly.mx in Chrome
  2. Tap the ⋮ menu (top right)
  3. Tap Add to Home screen or Install app (wording varies by Android version)
  4. Confirm — Plainly now has its own icon

💻 Windows / Linux / ChromeOS Chrome or Edge

  1. Open plainly.mx
  2. Click the install icon in the address bar (a small monitor-with-arrow icon), or open the ⋮ menu and choose Install Plainly…
  3. Click Install — Plainly opens in its own window and gets a shortcut in your Start menu / app launcher

🖥 Mac Safari or Chrome

  1. Open plainly.mx
  2. Safari: File menu → Add to Dock…
  3. Chrome: click the install icon in the address bar, or ⋮ menu → Cast, save, and share → Install page as app…
